Williams Jet Tenders, the world’s leading jet tender manufacturer, has invested in the region of £3-4m in its new offices and showroom – resulting in over 50% more space at its Oxfordshire headquarters. This follows investments in a brand-new research and development space and a state-of-the-art, in-house moulding facility with a fully equipped boat production unit as the manufacturer continues to grow at a pace, with big aspirations for its next five-year growth strategy.

The impressive new office space and showroom have been completely reconfigured to give more accessible areas for its team members and visiting international owners and business partners. It features a new boat inspection area, multiple meeting rooms for customers and suppliers, a bigger kitchen and dining space, renovated washrooms and an increase in collaboration areas.

The new facility has several sustainability features including more efficient lighting and glazing. It also has a stunning 3m boardroom table made from Foresso Ivory Cedar and Walnut, whose products are designed to minimise ecological damage with short supply chains, high recycled content and locally generated power. New office chairs were ordered from Coggin SOS, who intercept state-of-the-art furniture going to landfill, and refurbish them for an overall positive impact on the environment.

Mathew Hornsby, Commercial Director, at Williams Jet Tenders, commented: “Williams has undertaken significant further investment in our Oxfordshire, UK facilities. Our recently implemented 5-year growth strategy highlighted a need for significant infrastructure spend to support new projects and a growing team so, in addition to the development department expansion completed last year, we have recently finished new office accommodation and a showroom area.

“With an increasing number of both domestic and international owners, captains, and business partners visiting our manufacturing facility, we now have an environment which better reflects our standing in the marine industry.

“The new area has been very carefully designed to promote collaboration and interaction both within and between our teams. Extensive use of glass and multiple conference-enabled meeting rooms mean we can operate much more efficiently.”

Williams Jet Tenders has been on quite a journey over the last 19 years and is recognised as one of the most pioneering brands in the industry, producing 1,200 boats each year and employing 140 people.
