Williams Jet Tenders Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2026

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join Williams Jet Tenders Ltd on our 2026 Apprenticeship Programme starting in September 2026.

 

  • Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician
  • Level 3 Engineering Operative

What we look for:

 

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and passionate apprentices that would like to kick start their careers in either a manufacturing engineering environment or within a maintenance engineering role who are practically minded and can demonstrate their practical skills either through their education, ie projects completed at school/college, or extracurricular activities, which can vary from making and building things to commitment to hobbies and interests.

 

The programme:

 

Depending on the type of apprenticeship accepted your course duration may differ, but will be in the region of 3 years in total.  The apprenticeship will involve a split between on-the-job training and periodic block release at an accredited training provider.

 

The training provided will equip you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to further your career.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

5 GCSEs passes, including Maths, English are required.

Hours on site are:

 

Engineering roles are

Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:00 (37.5 hours per week)

 

Maintenance Engineering roles are

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 (37.5 hours per week)

 

When attending Training provider:

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 (this may vary)

 

Salary will be as follows:

 

School Leavers

£19K in year 1

£21K in year 2

£23K in year 3

Mature apprentices’ salaries will differ due to NMW thresholds and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
